    The Punch pass is valid for 3 months and can be purchased at the SB Recreation and Parks office during office hours. Try Jazzercise now! With our varied formats, fresh new music, and fun moves, you'll never get bored. We are a small boutique with lots of strong, fabulous, fun Jazzerbuddies. Come join us. Enjoy the opportunity to dance and workout with us 7 days a week at SBRP all year round. Mats and weights available, all you need are clean workout sneakers to change into at class and a water bottle. At your first class please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out our Jazzercise waiver.

    193002 - Jazzercise PT Basics

    Ages 18 & up

    Personal Training Basic is an on-going class that you can jump into anytime! Make it personal. Take your fitness to the next level. Work your body using weights, resistant tubes and your own body weight. You’ll work in small groups doing functional exercise, gaining flexibility and balance while building muscle. Your instructor will assist you with personal attention to help you use correct technique to receive the most from your PT class. Every week we will focus on the total body and include exercises for Lovely Legs or Just Abs or Work your Core or Arm Day. Equipment: Mats and weights available at class. Carry in clean aerobic sneakers to change into for class.

    Classes are 30-45 minutes long

    10 Class Punch pass - Valid for 3 months - $100.00 Residents - $120.00 for Non-Residents

Tai chi enhances relaxation and focus, reduces pain and stiffness, increased balance and strength and can even relieve some symptoms of insomnia and depression.     Are you interested in learning more about plants and working to improve the health of the City’s parks and natural areas? Then consider participating in the City’s Weed Warrior program. This program aims to educate and engage volunteers that will assist City staff in the identification and removal of non-native invasive plants found in our parks. The City will be organizing two Weed Warrior events in 2019 to take place at both Red Rocks Park and Wheeler Nature Park. These events will be led by Mike Bald with Got Weeds, and more information will be posted soon.

    To participate in either event, it is recommended that you wear sturdy shoes/boots, long sleeves, long pants, a hat, and bring sunscreen and/or bug spray.

    If you have a few ukulele chords at your fingertips and want to become a better player, this class will help you become more confident playing by yourself and with others. We’ll explore more chords, strumming patterns, fingerpicking, a super-easy music theory tool, and, of course, we’ll play lots of songs! Bring a ukulele and a tuner. This class is designed for ukuleles in the common high-G ("re-entrant") tuning (Ukes in other tunings including lefties, low-G, and baritone ukes are welcome, but the ability to translate chords and tablature for yourself is needed.

    Have you ever had an interest in growing your writing skills? This creative writing class is for all abilities. Each week, we will begin with a little round table discussion on writing, and we can share some of our own writing if people want. After that, we will get out in nature and walk around, stopping at various locations to get inspired and write. We will end by sharing some more work.We will focus on the process of creation while guiding you through the editing and finalizing process. Come learn from Champlain College's Poetry Award Winner and published author, Ben Siegal. There will be a poetry reading celebration held at the library on August 6th from 5:30pm-6:30pm to cap off the class!
