    193001 - Jazzercise LO/Low

    It’s a Low impact, low intensity workout with plenty of energy style class. This class is ideal for the active older adult, people with balance issues, arthritis, recovering from surgery, pregnant, just starting out, or just not ready for the higher impact/intense dance moves & strength workout. Chairs are used during strength or as needed. Carry in light weights, water & clean workout shoes to change into prior to class.

    Equipment: 1lb - 5lb weights.

    Mondays/Wednesday/Fridays - Dance Mixx LO/LOW - 10:00-11:00am
    Thursdays – Strength 45 – 10:00-10:45 a.m.
    Both classes are year round at City Call

    Jazzercise Strength 45 - Become stronger by attending our 45 minute choreographed strength class. You'll work your body from head to toe using your own body weight and light hand held weights. Upper torso, core & lower body strength work in a follow the leader style class. Use of chairs optional.


    10 visit Jazzercise LO/Low Punch Pass (9 months)- $34 Res, $39 Non-Res.


    Please come 20 minutes early if you are coming for the first time to sign a waiver.

    Young at Heart September Happenings
    Wednesday Schedule:
    Questions and Reservations - Call 846-4108 one week in advance
    12:00 - Arrival and Socializing
    12:15 – Lunch is served – (Meal is $4.00)
    1:00 – Program Begins
    2:00 – Socializing and Clean Up





    Join us each Wednesday from 12:00-2:30 p.m. for a meal and program. Possible program activities can include: Bingo, Movie Matinee, Concert, Health and Wellness, Games and more! We will meet each Wednesday for a meal at noon and free program to follow. We look forward to this exciting opportunity to stay connected all year round! Our senior's schedule is bursting with variety, based out of the City Hall Conference Room. We begin with a meal that can purchased for $4.00 per person.

    Menus are posted in advance through our monthly newsletter. You must pre-register for your meal on the Friday by 9:15 a.m. prior to the next Wednesday to receive lunch by calling 846-4108.
    Everyone is welcome to come after the lunch for the Free program!

    September 18th Lucia Chiu - Sharing Trip to Japan


    Meal Breaded pork chop, with sauce, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, biscuit and pears


    Program Lucia Chiu will share her trip experience to Japan in this Spring. Slide show will include the following:

    o The charming Ashikaga flower park near Tokyo.
    o The beautiful mountainous Town, Hakone hot spring resorts
    o Village of Shirakawa, A UNESCO world heritage site.
    o The Nagoya Castle
    o Hiroshima and more .....

    Meal Chicken in gravy, mashed cauliflower, spinach and romaine salad with vegetables and raspberry dressing, biscuit, apple and blueberry crisp.



    Program Identity Theft - an explanation of identity theft that explains how and why it occurs, provides instruction on protective steps and explains what to do if it happens. This presentation includes techniques used by identity thieves who commit fraud using stolen information.
