    Join us each Wednesday from 12:00-2:30 p.m. for a meal and program. Possible program activities can include: Bingo, Movie Matinee, Concert, Health and Wellness, Games and more! We will meet each Wednesday for a meal at noon and free program to follow. We look forward to this exciting opportunity to stay connected all year round! Our senior's schedule is bursting with variety, based out of the City Hall Conference Room. We begin with a meal that can purchased for $4.00 per person. Menus are posted in advance through our monthly newsletter. You must pre-register for your meal on the Friday by 9:30 a.m. prior to the next Wednesday to receive lunch by calling 846-4108.
    Everyone is welcome to come after the lunch for the Free program!

    12:00 – Lunch is served – (Meal is $4.00)
    1:00 – Program Begins
    2:30 – Socializing and Clean Up

    August 1 Birthdays and Bingo
    Meal Broccoli & cheese quiche, green beans with red pepper, wheat bread, watermelon and cantaloupe tidbits
    Program After lunch, we will celebrate August birthdays and play Bingo. Don’t forget your pennies!

    August 8 Trivia Fun, Root Beer Floats and Community Service Project
    Meal Sliced turkey in gravy, home fries, California blend vegetables, wheat roll, pumpkin pudding with cream
    Program Let’s put on our thinking caps and have fun with trivia! While doing so, we will make delicious root beer floats. Let’s also talk about our next community service project.

    August 15 Talk by Bjorn Norstrom – Technology for Tomorrow
    Meal Baked penne pasta with ground beef and mozzarella cheese, coleslaw with pineapple and carrots, wheat bread, cantaloupe
    Program Technology for Tomorrow provides technology education and counseling. We will discuss what technologies are relevant to our group and what learning might be most helpful and valuable.

    Program Many of us find our quarterly Medicare Summary Notices (MSN) cumbersome and a bit hard to understand. Join Mike McCleese, Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator for the Community of Vermont Elders program, to learn how to quickly and efficiently look through your MSN for error, fraud, or possible abuse. He will share some easy tips on how to protect your Medicare services, pass out tip sheets and have some fun along the way!
