    We have a select number of Community Garden plots, located at the Wheeler Homestead on Dorset St., we have a waitlist status for the 2020 upcoming season. We are accepting registration forms to be placed on a waitlist on a first come first serve basis. All gardeners from the 2019 Season have until Friday March 13th to confirm if they will be returning. We will be playing fun games to help increase the child's spatial awareness, motor skills, and coordination. Participants will learn basic skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting. An accompanying adult is expected to participate with the child and provide focused instruction that is delivered by our staff.

    Specific protocols will be in place to ensure our community's safety. Participants will be required to bring their own size 3 soccer ball with their name on it to each session. Participants will be in charge of sanitizing their own ball at home. Current return to play guidelines will be followed. To help alleviate too many people, we ask that each child come with just a single adult accompanying them.

    The program will run Saturday morning and more information on timing will be sent out closer to the start date. Timing may vary due to the number of participants throughout all department soccer programs.

    Grades 9+ Ages 15+

    This class is for teenagers and or adults who have a current Vermont learner's permit and want to obtain a Vermont Driver's license. This course reflects proven techniques for developing good driving skills and habits. The course consists of VIRTUAL classroom instruction, 6 hours of supervised driving, and 6 hours of observation. Appropriate precautions will be made to ensure safe interaction during driving times.

    The course will run daily through emailed lesson plans. There will be a full class meeting over Zoom on Fridays 6:00-8:00 P.M..

    Driving times will be figured out through an online survey.

    Participants can now take their driver's license tests directly through this course.

    Completion Requirements: Students must average 85% or higher on quizzes and tests, complete all work assignments, and participate in class as required.

    The first day of class is Parent Night. Please make an effort to join us and get everyone on the same page. "It takes a village", as they say


    This program has a $75.00 Non-Refundable fee. If you would like to be enrolled call 846-4108 and we will enroll your child with a balance due to be paid within 24 hours, you can place payment in our drop box. If not paid in full we will cancel your child out of the program.

    Four-week Level 1 classes are for folks who have never played the ukulele or who want a refresher of the basics. It's light-hearted and fun, and we cover how to hold the uke, strum it, form chords, and play songs. You don't have to have any musical experience for this class - just a song in your heart and eagerness to learn. After each class, I will email a class recap. (NOTE to baritone uke players: We don't cover baritone chords in this class.) This class is online and live using Zoom, so there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get help.

    Four-week Level 2 classes delve into various techniques to improve strumming, moving smoothly among chords, and playing well with others. You'll pick up some tricks and tips that will help make you a stronger, more confident player. Please be familiar with maintaining a basic strum and be able to move with relative ease among these chords: Am, C, D, Em, F, G & G7 NOTE to baritone uke players: We don't cover baritone chords in this class.
    This class is online and live through Zoom, so there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get help. Geared for adults ages 18+.

    Businesses are encouraged to decorate either their interior or exterior with eye-catching displays. A fun prize and bragging rights will go to the top two homes and one place of business. Judging by SBRP staff will take place on Thursday & Friday October 29th and 30th.

Participants need to be sure to dress for the weather and bring a headlamp or flashlight. We will leave from the dirt parking lot at the trail entry at 6:30 pm. As a courtesy to others, we kindly ask that all pets remain at home.
