    523300 - Full Stride Skate - Snow Plow Sam - Ages 3-5 -Winter

    The Snow Plow Sam program is for kids between the ages of 3 and 5 who are brand new to ice skating. Participants will learn how to stand up on ice skates, walk on ice skates off the ice, stand up on the ice, march on the ice and glide on the ice, among other basic skills. Participants will be divided into small groups with a coach. The small groups will be on the ice together skating in a designated area. Full Stride does not use milk crates or any other device to help with balance. Parents can be on the benches during class but are not allowed onto the ice.

    523302 - Full Stride Learn to Skate Program - Ages 6 & Up - Winter

    This program is for boys and girls ages 6 and up who simply want to learn how to skate. No prior experience is necessary. Participants will learn the basics of ice including the forward stride, backward stride, stopping, turning and more. Participants will practice their skills in groups with a coach.

    4:00pm-4:30pm will be a free skate period
    4:30pm-5:00pm will be instructional time

    The Youth Learn to Skate program is broken up into six levels. Brand new skaters will begin in the Basic 1 class. Participants will graduate to the other levels as they progress.

    538001 - Drivers Education Course - Winter

    Grades 9-12

    This class is for teenagers and or adults who have a current Vermont learner's permit and want to obtain a Vermont Driver's license. This course reflects proven techniques for developing good driving skills and habits. The course consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction, 6 hours of supervised driving, and 6 hours of observation, beyond class room hours. Driving times will occur on class days 5:30pm-7:30pm, Fridays 3:30pm-5:30pm & 5:30pm-7:30pm, and weekends as available. There is no class during the winter vacation, but driving will be available.
    -Attendance policy: A student can miss one class and still complete the course
    -CAR CONTROL LESSONS ON ICE are also available separately during winter vacation. The instructor is a two-time ice racing champion of New England & New York, and this is an excellent opportunity to learn life-saving skills behind the wheel

In this hour-long weekly practice we will explore the various aspects of yoga including movements that stretch and strengthen the body, breathing strategies, mental focus techniques, balance and the philosophical roots of Yoga that contribute to a "Yogic" lifestyle. All fitness levels are invited and participants will be continually encouraged to experiment with what feels right for themselves in each moment.
