Learn the art of fly fishing with professional fishing guide, Mark Wilde. This camp will teach participants the hands-on skills associated with fly fishing. Campers will spend time learning both the stroke and swing of the fly fishing rod and the delicate art of fly tying. Some time will be spent exploring the science of entomology, with direct, hands-on exploration of various bugs and insects in the local area. The final day of camp will be spent at Shelburne Bay, where participants will be able to utilize their learned skills.
Transportation will not be provided and parents/guardians are asked to both pickup and drop off at location. Details will be sent to registered participants before the start of the camp.
Registration will open February 1st
All Summer Camps have a $25 nonrefundable deposit upon registration. This deposit will be refunded only in the event that the camp does not run. Full payment for all camps will be due June 1st.
Water Bottle, Chair, Snack, Appropriate Clothing, and a Mask.
Participants may bring their own fishing equipment if desired.
